Midwest Sealing Products, Inc. distributes and fabricates parts from a wide range of elastomers including commercial and mil-spec grades. We have been an industry leading fabricator of rubber gaskets for over 30 years.

Common elastomers include:

EPDM: This material is used for general purpose applications, and ideal for cold and hot water, air, exterior service, and saturated steam. It offers exceptional resistance to outdoor impacts like ozone, weathering, and UV exposure, as well as outstanding chemical resistance.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -40° F
Maximum Temperature: 300° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI

Neoprene Rubber Sheet: This material is used for applications requiring resistance to petroleum, oil, and ozone, as well as weather. Its versatility makes it popular for use in a variety of applications.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -20° F
Maximum Temperature: 250° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI

Nitrile Sheet: This material is used primarily for petrochemical applications where resistance to solvents, oils, and fuels is a requirement. Nitrile’s exceptional abrasion resistance, stretch, and tear strength makes it useful in a range of applications.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -20° F
Maximum Temperature: 250° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI

Silicone Rubber: This material provides the maximum in reliability, whether exposed to adverse environmental conditions, stored for indefinite periods, or used under normal conditions. Resisting conditions which normally cause rubber to deteriorate, silicone rubber offers a useful life which is unmatched by other known elastomers. It resists temperature extremes, ozone, corona, radiation, moisture, compression set, weathering, and chemical attack.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -30° F
Maximum Temperature: 500° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI

Viton/Fluoroelastomer Sheet Rubber: This material offers exceptional resistance to heat, oils, fuels, different kinds of acids and other chemicals.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -15° F
Maximum Temperature: 400° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI

SBR (Natural and styrene butadiene rubber): This material is specially compounded to be quick-sealing, non-hardening, and heat resistant.

Specifications
Minimum Temperature: -10° F
Maximum Temperature: 200° F
Maximum Pressure: 250 PSI
